Glover's Atoll Resort
I decided to randomly visit Belize at the last minute. After researching hotels I noticed there were these incredible eco-friendly resorts on private islands sprinkled throughout Glover’s Atoll. I rolled the dice and booked a water bungalow on a random island 2.5HRS in a boat away from the mainland. I had invited some friends, I ended up negotiating renting all 6 bungalows for myself at under $400 a night in total- this resulted in having my own private island resort for me and my friends for such a little place. I was surrounded by the calmest glass like waters over the reef, with the best diving I have seen immediately from my bungalow. My fish was caught fresh everyday in front of me. It was like being in a movie for a week.

Marina Bay Sands Hotel
Singapore, just to swim in the world’s largest infinity pool over 50 floors high in the sky is worth it alone. The pool is 490FT in length, the whole time just 1FT to your side is a 50 floor drop to the city. A great place to have a cocktail and enjoy the view before heading down to your room and preparing for your night out.

ICEHOTEL
Sweden, constant new artists creating masterpieces from ice every year just for you to sleep in. Each year you can choose from a range of different rooms entirely made of ice, it sounds uncomfortable but is surprisingly comfortable, and lots of fun. Enjoy a cocktail in a glass made of ice, no need to add ice cubes!

Belmond Hotel das Cataratas
Iguazu. Located in the middle of the Amazon jungle directly over the world’s largest flowing waterfall. It is very impressive here and the entire waterfall is at the doorstep of this hotel.

Cottars 1920s Camp
You arrive by private plane from Nairobi, welcomes by real Masa Masa warriors, covered in scars from battle and survival wearing their bright attire and jewelry. They drove us to Cottar’s Camp and on the way you’ll see elephants, lions, and much more before you even get to the camp! You quickly realize you are in their animal world now, it’s humbling. Cottars offers everything in 1920s designs, old fashioned binoculars, type writers, tents, and attire. You have a private driver not shared with others to take you around for days, they know how to track every giant in the Masa. I even did a walking safari.. I don’t advise that for everyone! This is a once in a lifetime adventure everyone should try. You leave with a whole new respect for the animals and Masa people.
