Hostal Bellavista
A little more laid back, this spot is owned by the same people from La Chima. The gamechanger here is a pretty big rooftop complete with a variety of seating to soak in a sunset. No bar here so a bit more tame with the same access to all the nightlife in Bellavista.

Hostel Forestal
This place is a must stay while visiting Santiago. Always filled with people willing to head out for an adventure, the energy is great and the breakfast is top-notch (by hostel standards). While you'll pay a bit extra, it'll be worth the cash.

Hostal Providencia
Provedenica is one of the biggest hostels on the list and gives plenty of options to meet new people. Great choice for solo travelers and a 5 minute walk from Plaza Italia and the Baquedano metro station.

The Red House Hostel
These guys have a pool complete with a little tiki bar. You can also find a ping-pong table on the pool deck. Top it off with a pretty solid breakfast and you've got yourself a great hostel. Only thing keeping it down is the beds themselves- barebones and not the most comfortable but who knows, after a certain hour maybe it won't make a difference.

La Chimba Hostel
Funky vibes and friendly staff turn this place into the spot to be at night. Great prices and easily located right in the heart of Barrio Bellavista. The rooms are tucked away a bit so you have better luck getting to sleep when you want.
