I love small towns far more than big cities- here are some of my favorites 🌎

Essaouira
Such a perfect town. Incredible city walls and architecture (filmed in Game of Thrones), fantastic surfing, great restaurants and narrow streets, and, of course, the Moroccan markets

Saint-Tropez
If you’ve heard of St Tropez, then you know it’s a playground for the uber-rich: but I love looking at all the mega yachts and super cars, etc. Check out Nikki beach while you’re there for a wild scene

Bruges
Far better than Brussels - go to Bruges for a quintessential European town with narrow walking streets, great history (the church of the sacred blood) and, oh, incredible street waffles

San Pedro de Atacama
A surprisingly charming and adventurous town: everything is dirt and clay (roads, houses, shops) but when you walk in, you find fully modern stores and restaurants. It’s in the driest place in the world with so many cool things to do nearby

This is an old 15th century castle that was converted into a town. Stunning views of the Côte d’Azur. Sneak into the Chateau de la Chevre D’Or- it’s unbelievable.

The entire Tibet area is fantastic- and Lhasa is one of the best spots there. The palace, the mountains, the temples.

Under the shadow of the Matterhorn, a perfect walking ski town with almost no cars. Great hikes and skiing nearby

Salamanca
Lived here for 4 months and loved every second. It’s a truly authentic Spanish town and culture with the best plaza in Spain, one of the most beautiful cathedrals, and fantastic streets to walk.
