Awesome new and trendy Tapas restaurant with a beautiful modern decor and big windows opening up onto Spring Street. Also some outdoor seating in a beautiful little courtyard. The food was delicious - amazing Stuffed Squid and Snapper Crudo and the Pan Con Tomate was perfectly simple and tasty. Pro Tip: order a side of Manchego Cheese and eat it on top of the Pan Con Tomate!

Malagón, a Spanish-style taperia

Fantastic new traditional Spanish tapas joint by the team behind Chez Nous in Charleston. The entire wine list 🍷 is Spanish including some great Sherry options. I had cured tuna belly, lamb skewers, a pork skirt steak, Padron peppers with sea salt and Jamon Iberico and it was all great! They even sell my favorite Spanish tinned seafood to go!

Barsa Tapas Lounge & Bar

Finally someplace that does Paella 🥘 right at this relatively unknown and unassuming spot on upper King St. They even take the extra time to authentically crisp up the rice at the bottom of the pan! Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. The pan roasted Broccolini with garlic, lemon and chili flakes 🌶 was also superb!
