Alpendre
Two words: garlic shrimp!! I could have eaten five of those appetizers. We also ordered the grilled squid because the octopus was out, that was great as well. next was the seafood rice which ehhh, I wasnt a big fan.. the rice was a bit flavorless and watery but im sure the other fish and seafood items on their menu are killller. Also the waiter was super funny and made for a fun time at the restaurant, but the restaurant itself is nothing fancy or trendy at all haha

A Nata no LX
My favorite pasteis de nata in portugal thus far. The custard part was not as sweet as the other ones I had tried, which I really preferred. Stopped here after lunch while at LX Factory for a quick coffee and dessert!

Time Out Market
Hugeee market that was awesome for dinner and trying a bunch of the local foods! We decided to order small things from a bunch of the different restaurants like croquettes, salmon tartar, ham stuffed mushrooms, truffle octopus, a pork & scallop sandwich, and an amazing caramelized banana bread type dessert. Each place has entres as well, soooo many options! Highly recommend!

Miradouro da Graça
Another great viewpoint of Lisbon. This one has a bar and if your lucky some street music to accompany you! Not too far from the Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, if you wanted to do them both.

Castelo de S. Jorge
We bought tickets to go inside which in my opinion is worth it just for the 360 degree view of the city - Both looking over at the bridge and also in the other direction once you climb up the castle! We went around sunset time and got a glass of wine that came with a souvenir glass from vendors outside. There is a small museum part as well.

LxFactory
If I was to recommend just one thing in Lisbon it would be to visit the LX Factory. Such an eclectic group of shops, restaurants, and art. Great place to wander around one afternoon.

Miradouro da Nossa Senhora do Monte
Lisbon has many of these amazing viewpoints, or miradouros. This is one of the most popular ones. We walk to it from the main road which is quite a trek but totally worth it for this beautiful view. There is wine, cocktails and pastries sold by vendors at the top as well.

Ramiro
This place is nearly impossible to get a table at but after a failed attempt one night we decided go again and get there around 6pm before the normal late dinner crowd. Highlights were the crab and the giannnnnnt tiger prawns. I have never seen something like them before in my life but it was amazing and tasted similar to lobster! Crab had this weird gravy that it came with that wass nooo good haha Simple yet very good bread and butter. We ordered the garlic shrimp app too which ended up being perfect sauce to dip the crab and bread in

Fauna & Flora
By far my favorite brunch place in Lisbon, one of those places you wish you were staying longer so you could try more things. Bacon nest was a bit avocado heavy but still sucha fun dish. The bacon portobello was super good, sort of like a veggie lasagna! Acai bowl was 100% on point, I love acai that is sorbet consistency and last but not least was my favorite, the chicken curry bowl. If you’re looking for an instagrammable spot, this is it.

As soon as i saw Nasi Goreng on the menu I was sold. - fried rice that I got almost everyday in Bali. Wasn’t as good as I remembered but you really cant go wrong with fried rice haha I got the acai bowl as well and really liked the granola. Another good brunch spot if you are in Lisbon for a few days.

Sintra
I’d highly recommend doing a jeep tour through the coast of sintra down to cascias! I had the absolute best time going from beach, to outlook point, to local food spots and riding along the coastline. I did mine through airbnb experiences with francisco called sintra jeep safari!

A Praça
We stopped at this restaurant while wandering around LX Factory. I ordered the fried asiago cheese with jam and it was everything I ever wanted. Like mozzarella sticks but sweet and 100x better

Pensão Amor
We went to the pink street not really knowing where to go, and we figured the door with the line must be the place to go. It apparently was a brothel before and all the drinks are named after girls the worked there lol it had pretty funky decor and tons of rooms to explore!

Park and National Palace of Pena
Unfortunately we went on a suppper rainy day and had very poor visibility, that being said it is a super cool destination but just be cautious that the weather can really damper your ability to see the property the way its mean to be ! I did it with a tour that picked up in lisbon but truth be told I would have rather done it seperate. We were given in depth tour all about all the inside of the palace which didn’t particularly interest me. Given if it was a nice day, i would have rather spent the time walking around the massive exterior looking at the architecture. Also ubers and super cheap from lisbon as well as like 2.50 euro and 30 min on the train!

Cascais
Pretty little seaside town about a 30 minute train ride from Lisbon, which i assume is was more crowded in the summer time. Was told there are quite a few of European celebrities that have houses here. Nice little downtown area with shops and a beach and restaurants. One of tour guides highly recommended Hifen!
