A great city to stay in while in St. Lucia. There are plenty of resorts, hotels, restaurants and shopping. It is a safe and friendly city, so walking around is not a problem

Bay Gardens Inn
Located in Rodney Bay, this hotel is clean, friendly and budget friendly. They have shuttles that will take to Castries to go shopping as well as pool parties on certain evenings.

Castries Central Market
I think the Central Market was the most interesting place I visited in the Castries. It is set in an old building and is filled with crafts, local artist and souvenirs. A lot of locals and tourists a like wander through here, it is a pretty cool place to shop!

The capital of St. Lucia, Castries, is quite a busy city. There are a lot of nice places to eat, shop and walk around.
