Empire
Located across the train station and a 15 minute walk into old town, this reasonably priced hotel is clean, friendly and serves a very good breakfast. There is also a bar and restaurant inside that serves inexpensive pizza and pasta dishes.

Parc Municipal
I love strolling through parks when I travel and the Municipal Park in Luxembourg City is a lovely one. There are many shaded paths to run/ walk or plenty of grassy areas to sit and relax with a picnic.

Luxembourg City
The capital of Luxembourg with the same namesake is a charming city with a lovely old town, great shopping and delicious food & wine. It is an easy city to walk and can be quite a lively place to visit.

There are several locations throughout Luxembourg, including one next to Hotel Empire. They have a delicious selection of pastries, baked goods and confectionary and reasonable prices.

Café-Restaurant Um Dierfgen
I needed to choose one dining experience, so I did some research and chose Restaurant Un Dierfgen. This upscale restaurant serves traditional food with a modern flare. I suggest to order a glass of local wine and the Kniddelen mat Spek, a traditional dish of flour dumplings with cream & parsley, served with bacon.
