Tunnel of Love
BRING BUG SPRAY! Whenever I am asked about my experience at this famous tunnel landmark, that is how I start off the experience. It is a beautiful site to see and it is quite a drive from Kiev but be prepared for swarms of very large mosquitos. Also bring good walking shoes because I ended up running across the railroad tracks due to the mosquitoes. I do recommend the Tunnel of Love but I also recommend bringing Bug Spray with you!

Free Kiev Walking Tours
A great way to explore the city in a couple of hours. There is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. This tour takes to you various neighborhoods, the famous monasteries and gives you advice on places to eat. All you need to do is tip at the end!

Children Landscape Park
Great place for families with kids or those who are a kid at heart. This park is just adorable with Story Book scenes brought to life with colorful mosaics.

Kyiv
Ukraine is one country that should be on everyone's list. Kiev, the capital of Ukraine is one extraordinary city! The people are friendly, the vodka strong, the food fabulous and the prices are great for the value of experience. There are so many places to see in this city, I cannot wait for my return!

St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery
One of the most iconic buildings in Kiev. On a beautiful clear day, it seems that the blue of the monastery matches the blue of the sky- so beautiful! Do not hesitate to enter the Monastery, it is just as magnificent as the outside.

Pastateca
I typically do not order pasta but found myself in Pastateca. This pasta restaurant serves a variety of delicious pasta dishes and huge raw oysters. I was very impressed by the quality and the size of the oysters served. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, plus there was live music (acoustic guitar) when I was dining.
