Banh canh cua 14
Consistency is king when it comes to Banh Canh Cua 14. Banh Canh Cua, is a very traditional Vietnamese Crab Noodle soup. Their broth is always on point, as is the fresh crab meat, the elegant tapioca noodles, and the crab cake. I recommend getting the specialty bowl that comes with Crab meat, shrimp and crab Cake.

Viet Huong Restaurant - Grilled chickens in clay pots
This is one of the most unique experiences you'll have in terms of BBQ. The chicken is perfectly marinated, spatchcocked and slow roasted inside of a massive clay pot over an open fire. The final product is an entire chicken for 140k, that is tender beyond belief and packed with flavor. Drink it with 1$ local beer for the full experience!

Nong Trai Khoai
One of the best, if the not THE best, selections of beer in the city. Khoai has imported beer, award winning craft beer brewed locally, and every time of local beer from Saigon to Hanoi. We recommend: 1. Sagota (local) 2. Huda (local) 3. Bia Tuoi (local) 4. Heart of Darkness (craft) 5. 7 bridges (craft) 6. Imported beers according to your taste, from Czech, to Belgian ETC

Là Việt Coffee
A specialty coffee shop that only uses local Arabica beans from Dalat. You can get everything from Espressos, to Pour Over, to V60, Kalita Drip ETC. It attracts a very youthful crowd of locals, and they have consistently fantastic coffee.

Vĩnh Khánh
The Disneyland of seafood, BBQ, cheap sushi, and much more, nestled in the beating heart of district 4, often considered to be the best street food neighborhood in the city. This street is bustling with hungry foodies and loud cooks yelling at each other over the steaming hot pots and grills. Vinh Khanh has an astonishing variety of food, walk up and down enjoying the sites and smells of barbecuing octopus, shellfish, pork ribs, hot pots ETC. For traditional Vietnamese seafood that is cheap and includes a English translated menu we recommend OC VU by tree #98 and #99. Sò điệp nướng muối ớt – Grilled Scallops Ốc hương xào tỏi – Tiger snails sauteed with garlic sò lông nướng mỡ hành – Grilled Mussels with green onions and peanust tôm nướng muối ớt – Grilled shrimp with chili ốc móng tay rang me – Sauteed razor clams in Tamarind sauce cua rang me – Crab roasted in Tamarind Sauce Cơm chiên hải sản – Seafood fried rice

Social Club Saigon
On top of Saigon, for one of the best sunsets and happy hours in the city! Located on the top floor of the very fancy Hotel Desarts in the heart of the city, they have a great selection of cocktails and beers. Happy Hour: Every day 5-8PM
