City O' City
So far, this place is easily my favorite restaurant in Denver. It's an incredible place for my vegan and vegetarian fam, but be sure to take your carnivore friends here too–I've yet to disappoint a single one of mine. 😍🍄🍆🥔🍠🥑🥕

Linger
Ordered a fried tofu bento box with this delicious nutty sesame salad, gochujang edamame, and a coconut macaroon. Their cocktail menu is also outstanding - don't be shy about the corpse reviver!

Safta Restaurant
Fluffiest most delicious pitas. Hummus that will make you throw out the Sabra when you get home. Mediterranean inspired food that is pretty well guaranteed to impress, located in everyone's favorite rich-people-food-court, The Source.

Union Lodge No.1
Absolutely mind blowing prohibition era cocktails! You won't find much here that you'd see on a more modern menu, but for the old school American standbys (old fashioned! Manhattan! Knickerbocker! Corpse reviver #2!!!!) you'll be in the right spot. 🍸🍹🥃🍷🤤

Maria Empanada
This place is the realest. Vegan, vegetarian, and carnivores unite for fast, casual empanadas in a huge variety of fillings. Don't forget to grab a beer and some tres leches as well!

Improper City
One of the best places I've ever come across for remote working. Massive outdoor patio, and a huge, airy, multi-level indoor space with great WiFi, coffee, kombucha, snacks, beer, wine, and more.

Crooked Stave Taproom RiNo
If you're into sour beer, this is the Denver wild ale brewer to start with. Anything fruited is guaranteed to impress, and they've got a handful of great non-sour beers to boot (including one of my favorite pilseners ever)! Just try not to spend your entire life savings on to-go bottles 😛🍾🍷

Black Project Spontaneous & Wild Ales
If you like em extra tart, this is your spot! Lots of excellent sour beers on tap, and a very fun aesthetic - the bar top is made from an old airplane wing!

Golden Moon Speak
This place has been my favorite cocktail bar in Colorado for a few years now, and frankly it just keeps moving up my list of favorites ever. All spirits are their own, and still, the menu feels endless. lots of prohibition-era inspired drinks here, and basically anything with their absinthe will how your mind! 🍸🍹

Forest Room 5
Tried to take a video to show how unbelievably cool this place is, but I'm opting to make you go find out for yourself because I'm not sure it's possible to capture that on video. Seriously - this is easily one of my new favorite bars in Denver. The cocktail menu is modern and relaxed, and the look and feel of this place (especially the patio!!!) is like some sort of vintage dystopian safe haven or something. It's not far off the beaten path but you'll absolutely feel like you're in an alternative universe as soon as you step inside. And their amazing patio is dog friendly too!!
