Radical Road Brewing Co.
Selection of their own beer is quite varied although not extensive. Their raspberry sour was light and refreshing. The red ale was also on the lighter side - didn't bog me down on the humidity/heat. The food menu was also eclectic - I had pork tacos with an interesting mix of spices. There is also an outdoor seating area for one group in front. If the Radical Road kitchen is closed and Descendant Detroit Pizza across the street is open, you can bring a pie over to Radical's outdoor patio. You can also buy beer togo!

Thompson Toronto
Usually I'm not one to hang at a Thompson Hotel rooftop but this one was really chill and reasonably priced. Went on a friday during happy hour and it was not packed at all and there was a DJ playing groovy house music. Excellent views and very friendly staff.

Descendant Detroit Style Pizza
If you have never had Detroit style pizza and like pizza and cheese, you owe it to yourself to try some. It's not easy to find. Descendant has a great selection of their own recipes like funghi with bacon. There is usually a wait - it was going to be 2 hrs for us on a saturday evening. We came back the next day.
