Kloof Street House
One of the most incredible dinners I had during my time in South Africa. Lots of outdoor seating and has a very cool vibe to it. The best gnocchi I have had in my life and the ostrich is also amazing. Drinks and dessert are fabulous as well. A great place for big groups and is best if you make a reservation.

Gorgeous George Hotel
Beautiful high end hotel with a wonderful rooftop to have dinner or to just grab some drinks before a night out. Their cocktails are amazing as well as the food. Would highly recommend reservations.

The Old Biscuit Mill
The perfect spot to start off your Saturday. Amazing food vendors with every type of food you could possibly want. In addition to the wonderful food there are awesome vendors for shopping and several different stands to grab some cocktails.

Rust Café
Great place to sit and have a drink with friends or to grab a bite to eat. Great coffee, fries, breakfast, and lunch! If you’re going to be in Cape Town for a bit ask them about their 25 beer challenge - lots of fun!

Truth Coffee Roasting
Ranked #1 coffee shop in the world and it truly does live up to its name. Amazing coffees that are so rich with flavor that they do not need any sugar added. Amazing place to grab a bite to eat as well. The avocado toast was delicious. Definitely needs to be at the top of your list for coffee in Cape Town.

Downtown Ramen Asian Restaurant
Some of the best ramen I have ever had. Great place for lunch or dinner. The broth has an amazing spice to it, but if you aren’t a fan of spicy food definitely ask for the chili peppers on the side. Have a selection of ramens from beef, to chicken, to veggie so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Cutest upscale diner in the downtown area with incredible tomato soup and all different types of grilled cheese sandwiches. The mac & cheese and fries are also great.

Wonderful place to grab a bit to eat for breakfast or lunch. Really healthy options and great for vegetarians. The daily specials are always great and the salads are as fresh as it gets!

Giulio's Café
Cutest upscale cafe with some of the best pizza in Cape Town. Their dinner is also great but I would suggest going for lunch if you want to try their pizza because it isn’t on the dinner menu.

Mzansi Restaurant
One of the most amazing experiences from my month spent in South Africa. If you are looking for a home cooked meal and the best hospitality around then it is here. In addition to a home cooked meal there is live music, a story about the history of the restaurant, and an artist. Highly recommend this amazing place and be sure to call ahead of time to give them a heads up!

Asoka Restaurant, Bar and Lounge
High end, trendy tapas lounge with incredible food and drinks. I tried several of their dishes, all of of which were amazing. Would highly recommend & is best to make reservations.
