Taberna el Botero

I was recommended by the fine dining establishment, Zalacain, in Madrid to check out this tavern. This Tabenara is close to the cathedral and is worth the visit. The prices are great and the tavern is very casual and comfortable. The dishes have a fusion feel to them and the Lemon Pie is fantastic. They also have a full bar, cocktails and wine- a great little place!

Restaurante Plaza Mayor

This cellar style restaurant is located close to the Cathedral. The food is reasonably priced for a sit down restaurant and the flavors have homestyle simplicity to it. When I had lunch here, I was told that there were two courses and the server told me what the courses were and I had to pick. It may bea different experience during dinnertime but I actually enjoyed choosing from a small verbal menu of what dishes were available for the day!

Plaza Zocodover

This historical plaza in Toledo is a nice place to start off and is close to the escalators into the city. There are little streets that shoot off from Zocodover with a lot of shopping and cafes.

Santa Iglesia Catedral Primada de Toledo

The cathedral in the center of Toledo is noted as one of the three 13th Century and best Gothic Cathedral in Spain. The interior is stunning and you can easily spend an hour or two inside the cathedral walls.
