Trident Booksellers & Cafe
Trident is a great place to study/work, get brunch (or any meal really), or just meander through the bookshelves and trinkets in the back. I always stop here when I’m Christmas shopping and head right to the back corner for the odds and ends and can knock off half my list at once.

sweetgreen
For everyone who loves a good salad but has no idea how to make a good one, the seasonal suggestions at Sweetgreen are always spot on. Or if you’re blessed with the ability to make them yourself you can pick your own toppings! If you go during lunchtime, prepare to wait in line... it’s worth it though!

Make Way for Ducklings
Tucked away in the Boston Public Garden are the statues of Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Oack, Pack, and Quack Mallard as well as their mother (for those unfamiliar, they’re the ducks from the famous children’s book, Make Way for Ducklings). Not only an instagrammable spot, but also if you catch them during playoffs season and a Boston team is playing (which, let’s be honest, is more likely than not these days) they’ll be dressed up in mini jerseys!

Newbury Street
Newbury Street is *the* place for shopping in Boston. Albeit, it’s nothing super cheap, but that’s Boston. Strolling through the classic brown houses and ducking into some cute shops is a good way to pass an afternoon nevertheless!

Boston Common
There are so many picturesque places in the Commons that you can go a dozen times and still not be able to pick a favorite spot! It’s likely to be around the bridge or the pond though, as that area is especially beautiful with a plethora of willow trees.

Escape the Room Boston
After successfully completing two rooms, I can safely say this is a doable but challenging escape the room. The staff is super fun and they have games outside if you get there early!
