Art Market Bridge
Avoid the old market in town and instead do the five minute walk to the night market. Siem Reap has a great night life and that includes the markets. The night market opens at 5pm and is full of clothes, paintings, spas, shoes and local ornaments. They welcome haggling and it is a very welcoming place for tourists.

Choeung Ek Genocidal Center
This is not an easy visit but it is an important one. The Cambodian Genocide is still very prevelent in Cambodia, happening just a matter of years ago. The audio guide walks you through the fields and the horrors that took place. I would recommend going early in the morning. When we arrived we were the only people there, allowing us to pay our respects queity and privately. The entrance fee is €6 which all goes towards preservation of the sight.

Angkor Wat
Both the Rough Guide and Lonely Planet recommend Angkor Wot to be the number one place to visit in the world and I can see why. Watching sunset at the Temples is truly stunning. Its an experience that will stay with you forever. Make sure you rent a tuk Tuk for the day as the Temples are all far apart. We started at 4.30am and by 10am had seen five different temples. I could not recommend this experience enough.

Pub Street Siem Reap
The clue is in the name. A visit to Siem Reap is not completed without a night on pub street.
