Bogyoke Aung San Market
A giant market with every souvenir you could think of. Myanmar also has a huge jade industry and so you’ll be able to find almost everything made out of jade here. Fun to spend a couple hours at trolling through the aisles.

Shwedagon Pagoda
A giant golden pagoda, must I say more? The main attraction of the city, this giant pagoda surrounded by hundreds of other small temples is a must see. Here you’ll walk around the pagoda which will take about an hour and you’ll find many locals praying or relaxing around here. Go into one of the smaller temples and just sit and watch for a few minutes. Very relaxing and can get you into a state of meditation.
