Teatro la Fenice
The Teatro La Fenice is one of the most renowned & famous landmarks in Italian theatre. It is still used today almost every weekend for theatre, music, & opera. The stage & atmosphere is magical and will have you feeling like your living in the 1800s. See a show if you can while baiting Venice!

Rossopomodoro Venezia San Marco
The BEST pizza place in Venice. There is a lot of tourist trap restaurants here and this one is the REAL DEAL. I have eaten here maybe 20 times and it is always as good as the last. The pizza is so fresh and authentic and tasty. You must come here when you go to Venice!

Murano
A short boat ride away from Venice, escape the crowds to this magical little island full of fun shops and colourful canals. Brilliant restaurants here too. Small enough to explore the whole island in just an afternoon, but well worth it

Grand Canal
You MUST go on a gondola ride through the city in Venice, it’s cliche & basic but it is popular for a reason. If your lucky your guide will sing songs in Italian for you and take your artsy pictures. Take the tour at sunset and have a restaurant booked for dinner after, it might just be the best night of your life.

Rialto Bridge
The Rialto bridge is one of the few that crosses the main canal in Venice. It is surrounded by cafes restaurants that give you the best seat in the house for people watching and relaxing. There is heaps of shopping and souvenir shops as well around this area. Find a hole in the wall pizza shop and explore for the afternoon.

Caffè La Serra
My favorite coffee shop in Venice. This is in a more residential area of Venice, so it’s quiet and lovely & very authentic Italian. You can walk from St. Marks square along the water to this cafe and take in all the sights of the beautiful city and get lost in the alleyways. Lots of outdoor seating and plants everywhere. A great way to spend the afternoon.

St. Mark's Square
The iconic center of Venice. It is so dramatic and breathtaking you just might cry. If you are lucky enough to stay in Venice for a few days, wake up just before sunrise and come to St.Marks Square when it is quiet and nobody is around. Italy wakes up late, and it is most beautiful when you can experience it all to yourself.

Saint Mark's Basilica
One of the most dramatic & incredible churches in all of Europe. Connected to the Doge’s Palace, you must save a few hours to visit both and explore the rich history and culture. It is most beautiful than words can describe!
