Hartley's Crocodile Adventures
This little spot along the highway from Cairns to Port Douglas is a must when doing a Queensland roadtrip. The rock formations in front of the ocean are beautiful and it is fun and ~zen~ to build your own. OMMM @mckenziewisdom

Magnetic Island
Catch the ferry from Townsville and head over to Magnetic Island for the day. A great way to see the whole island and all the beaches and bays is to rent one of the automatic Barbie convertible cars and go exploring. @mckenziewisdom

The Great Barrier Reef is a given..but honestly, no trip to Cairns is worth it without doing a snorkel/scuba tour in the outer reef. @mckenziewisdom

Kuranda Koala Gardens
Love this spot. You can hold a koala (for a split second, but still) and you can get up close with the kangaroos and wallabies to feed/pet them. @mckenziewisdom

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway
This gondola takes you from Cairns-up and over the rainforest into Kuranda, which is a little rainforest hippie town. It's really only worth it to go to Kuranda if you are going to the koala gardens.

Wellington TOP 10 Holiday Park
Ok, this holiday park is expensive. but if you are looking for somewhere with clean facilities, this is the place. I'm mostly posting about it because it has this fun jumpy trampoline thing:) @mckenziewisdom
