Halona Blowhole Lookout
The water is so incredibly blue, the waves hit the rocks just right and there’s a beach at the bottom! Can’t complain!

Smith & Kings
Order the mango tea 🥭 and lobster mac n cheese! 🧀 You won’t regret it! Hopefully they are still playing Bob Ross videos on the TVs when you check it out! 🎨

Moke's Bread & Breakfast
The first time I lived in Hawaii this place was our Sunday morning staple. Without fail, this is where you could find me. Clearly Moke’s is my go-to breakfast place in Kailua and now I’m Kaimuki! Find everything from local plates to traditional French toast...you won’t be disappointed!

Leonard's Bakery
Malasadas are a staple dessert in Hawaii BUT the most iconic place to get your deep-fried, sugar-dusted Portuguese doughnut is from Leonard’s Bakery in Honolulu. The original bakery is located a mile away from Waikiki and has been there for almost 70 years but you can also find their food-truck serving in Hawaii Kai. I’ve tried other malasadas but they never match Leonard’s!

Surf N Salsa
Mexican food is hard to find on Oahu and this is by far one of the best places to get street tacos, quesadillas and burritos. I highly recommend the chicken, carne asada and shrimp street tacos! 🌮 You can find this taco truck on the edge of Haleiwa surrounded by a community of other food trucks so if you’re friends want to try something else, there are plenty of options in one location.

Manoa Chocolate Hawaii
I will never say no to free chocolate and you’re monster if you do. Manoa Chocolate is a bean-to-Bar, Hawai‘i made chocolate company. In their Kailua location you can walk-in for an intimate tasting of their chocolate collection while you watch them cultivate new bars in the next room. So fun! 🍫

Barefoot Beach Cafe @ Queen's Surf Beach
Walk right out of the ocean (literally...people in line were dripping) to grab a smoothie or plate lunch from this cute outdoor beach cafe! Great garlic shrimp and lava flow! 👌🏼

Waimanalo Country Farms
I’ve been dreaming of these Hawaiian sunflower fields for years! 🌻 I’ve discovered that this particular farm is only open during special events (aka sunflowers) and they only bloom for about two weeks so your timing has to be just right. It was gorgeous and the farm has animals, local lemonade, corn and honey plus SO much more! Loved every second of it!

Best place in Kaimuki to try a new beer! I tried a cider from New Zealand and fell in love 🥰
