Great coffee shop to go work or go read a book. Their coffee and food is actually really good too. They have two locations in Florence, this one is in a less touristy area.

A coffee shop that very few tourist know about and that has the best view of Il Duomo! Filled with students from a nearby university.

Piazzale Michelangelo
Great panoramic view of the city + you get a nice walk up there. Highly recommended to go watch the sunset where you can take a bottle of wine and hear the local musicians play.

Small authentic Italian restaurant, excellent atmosphere and amazing food. Recommend the Filetto al Mirtillo (blueberry steak) and the tiramisu 👌

The Oil Shoppe
Whole in the wall sandwich place! Hands down the best sandwich shop in Florence. Extremely fresh ingredients and super cheap sandwiches. They also happen to have the best iced coffee in town! The owner is always there and is really nice as well.

BEST PIZZA IN FLORENCE! This is the food market in the center of the city but in the second floor there is gourmet food court with local dealers and incredible fresh-food!

Beer House Club
Cool bar where you can find a lot of foreign students. They have the best deals on shots, beers and burgers. Great place to hangout with friends and watch soccer matches.
