Zuiderterras / RAS
The Seasonal Menu, alcohol selection and the Chocolate Mousse are worth coming here! RAS is a lovely upscale restaurant with nice views of the river, This restaurant is at the end of the walking pier that hugs the main river in Antwerp. I highly recommend RAS if you are looking for a place to have a nice meal solo, with your significant other or for business. The service here is very friendly and the food is incredible, including their chocolate mousse!

Antwerp
Antwerp is the second largest city in Belgium that runs along a river. It is a gorgeous and cultural city with great shopping, food and lovely architecture. Old Town, the Cathedral and a walk along the river are a great way to spend a day in Antwerp.

Century Hotel
Not a fancy hotel but it is comfortable and safe. It is located across the street from the Central Train Station and about a 15 minute walk into Old Town. They also offer a good breakfast in the morning.

The Duke of Antwerp
One of the nicer restaurants a block from Central Station. They offer nice seafood options, cocktails, breakfast and Afternoon Tea. The service is friendly and the food is great although it is a bit pricey.

Cathedral of Our Lady Antwerp
Our Lady Cathedral is located in the center of the maze like streets of Antwerp. It is not expensive to enter, approx. €6 and worth the entrance fee. The stained glass windows, columns and arches inside are common with most European cathedrals. I do feel that it is worth the hour just to walk through to take a glimpse of the architecture and art that is housed inside. The area of Old Town in Antwerp is lovely and totally different from stepping out of the Central Station. Old Town is a maze of cobblestone streets, cafes, restaurants and shops. In the center of everything is the Old Cathedral which is worth checking out if you have time.
