Angkor Wat
Going to Angkor Wat was one of the best parts of my trip to Cambodia. I only got to tour the temples for one day, but could have spent a week exploring them. From astounding sights, to historical and cultural wonders. It’s a world wonder that can’t be missed.

Thera
Most people go to Santorini to see the sunset, eat amazing food, and see the beautiful white and blue buildings. But the island has much more to offer that will get your blood pumping. I’d recommend the following; Hike or take an ATV to the hugest point on the island. There are ruins there and the view is astounding. Hike from Fira to Oia on the coastal trail. It will take a few hours, and I’d recommend doing it after or before the worst heat of the day. It will give you some of the best sights of the coastal cliffs and you will probably see a wedding or two or three along the way. Cliff jump! There are several places to do it, but we went down the hill in Oia to where they jumped in Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants. Then be sure to ride a donkey back up the hill (all you’ve got to do is hold on).

Captain Steve's Rafting
The guides are fun and informative, it is a small group away from the big crowds of Molokini, and the small boat lets you experience the sea up close. I got to see spinner and bottlenose dolphins 3 feet from my face as they played at the bow of our boat.

Vang Vieng
The party scene has slowed down but tubing the river is still a blast. Beautiful views, and a day of water and sunshine.

Khao Sok National Park
Take a long tail boat to one of many chains floating bungalows to see this beautiful national park in Thailand. Spend a few days kayaking, cliff jumping, tubing, and bamboo rafting to get the full experience.

Elephant Woody
Woody’s Elephant Camp is a privately owned rescue for elephants in Chang Mai. All of the elephants are rescues from logging camps, or tourist attractions that did not treat them well. They offer experiences to the public to support their cause, but it is not like the touristy elephant experiences you see elsewhere. They spend a lot of the morning teaching you about the elephants and how they cafe for them. Then you learn humane commands and how to ride the elephants. When you finally get to ride them, you go up the hill, take a pit stop for the elephants to munch on some sugarcane and learn more about the sanctuary. After riding back down the hill you get to take the elephants for a swim! A very neat experience. Then before finishing up you take the elephants into the creek and give them a nice massaging scrub and play with them in the water. You can tell the animals here are well cared for, and the people who work there care deeply for them. I know we don’t rate on Rayka but if I could they would get 100 ⭐️ s
