Déryné Bisztró
Unexpected in Budapest. Awesome find. This French bistro is on the Pest side of the city. Very authentic atmosphere and cuisine. It’s been in business for 13 years, outliving most of the recent, entrepreneurial restaurant startups. Well worth a visit.

Zaika Indian Cuisine
It’s super convenient to have authentic Indian cuisine in my neighborhood. Zaika took over a strip mall space that struggled with business. It’s doing well.
Zaika does not have a typical buffet line. They serve platted meals. They have a great vegetarian selection, as you might expect an Indian food restaurant to have. Tasty and medium expensive.
