In the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the search for the Grail takes Indy to Venice, where he finds a clue in the Church of San Barnaba, Campo San Barnaba in the laidback Dorsoduro district, across the Canal Grande from St Mark’s.

Tilbury Docks
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade used the Tilbury Docks as a film location for a 'Venice' boat chase. Although the Venice waterfront starts out as real, most of it was filmed back in England, with the high-speed chase being filmed around Tilbury Docks in Essex.

Playa de Mónsul
The beach scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on which Jones Sr makes ingenious use of his brolley to see off a pursuing Nazi plane is Playa De Monsul, with its striking volcanic rock, Punta de la Peineta, in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, a few miles east of Almeria on the coast of southeast Spain.
