Beautiful. Nearby Vandy campus, which is also worth a stroll around.

Nashville
One day in Nashville: A good day could be brunch at Jackson's (I go here every time I come back, no fail) or the famous Pancake Pantry. Then hit up Posh/Hillsboro stores. Walk through Vandy campus and on to Centennial Park. Right by the park are Calypso Cafe (healthy Caribbean food) and Rotiers (serious burger hole in the wall). Then head downtown to the CM Hall of fame. At night, hit up Lime, Virago, or Bound'ry for dinner, a drink at Patterson House, then go to Tin Roof and Dan McGuinnes for live music (demonbreun).

If a second day in Nashville: Go to the Frist, see City Hall, LP Stadium across the river (wouldn't recommend crossing, not much over there). Have some Jim & Nicks BBq for lunch, then to Grand Ol Opry for the afternoon. Rumours, Flyte, or Sambuca for dinner, and do the downtown bar loop of Rippy's, Paradise Park, the Stage, and end with late night Lonnie's karaoke. That loop is a must see!!
