Ostello Bello
Was very ‘hostel’-y (events at night) but recommend for ease + the free e-bike tour, which is the perfect way to get around and take in the sights - especially the sunrise and sunset. Heads up, no hot water available.

Kalaw Vista Bed & Breakfast
Was amazing & basically stayed at someone's home - free snacks, fireplace, balcony with view. Also had hot water. On pricier side (think ~$25/night), but if you want a splurge then go for it.

Jungle King Trekking Service
My guide was super nice, friendly, good pace; definitely do the 3-day, 2-night as the scenery and the village homestay the 1st night were the best; 2nd day you also get to swim in a river which was great!

Great location for easy access via tuk tuk to: Sadan cave & the boat ride, Kyauk Ka Lat pagoda and Kawgun cave where you should climb up the stairs behind the ticket booth for a great view

Walk through the cave to the opening at the other end for a good view; bring clothes to swim in (a sarong, or dress or something).

Mount Zwegabin
a ~2hr hike up 4,000+ stairs to a pagoda with good views - very difficult hike. I heard people who hiked up in the dark to see sunrise, so maybe that would be better - but definitely don't do that alone, it's not an easy hike up!
