Twenty Mule Team Canyon
This location in Star Wars Return of the Jedi was used for the scene where C-3P0 and R2D2 walk up to the Palace of Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine. It also featured the "Lost scene" of Luke Skywalker working on a new lightsaber in a cave overlooking the Millennium Falcon and his X-wing, followed by R2D2 and C3PO starting their trek to Jabba's palace.

Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park
The Redwoods were used for forest scenes in Star Wars Return of the Jedi, with monster trees on the ‘Moon of Endor’, up to 300 feet tall and 20 feet in diameter, are the giant Redwood groves of the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, where shot in this location

Imperial Sand Dunes Cahuilla Ranger Station
These Sand Dunes near Yuma on the Arizona / California border were used as locations for Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi. It was used for the Great Pit of Carkoon scene.
