Half Moon
Located on the grounds of Rose Hall Great House, the crew stayed here to film scenes for 1973's Live And Let Die. Bond's bungalow on fictional San Monique is now long gone, but it used to be Bungalow 9 Room 52 of the Half Moon resort. Across the road, behind Rose Hall, a small waterfall can be found which is passed by Bond and Solitaire wile on the run from Mr. Big's house.

Green Grotto Caves
The filming of the 1973 James Bond film Live and Let Die, used the caves for villain Doctor Kananga's underground base beneath a cemetery on the fictional island of San Monique. It is most memorable for being the location where Bond (played for the first time by Roger Moore) kills Kananga (played by Yaphet Kotto) by forcing him to swallow a bullet of compressed air, causing him to float up to the ceiling like a balloon and explode

Slidell
The Treadway mansion in Slidell Louisiana was used in a boat chase and wedding scene in the film Live and Let Die. The interrupted wedding was filmed at the Treadway Estate, a former Indian reservation in Louisiana’s Bayou country, 30 miles from New Orleans. The boats scoot over the lawn at the Baldwin Estate, Louisiana. The police riverblock is at Miller’s Bridge. Adam dies among the rusting wrecks of the boatyard at Slidell. The Southern Yacht Club marina is on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain.
