Apricot Premium Cruise

We did a 1 night / 2 day tour of Halong Bay on board the Apricot Premium. It was great fun. Delicous food and great room. The day goes super fast, so it did feel a bit rush at times, so keep in mind that there isn't much lazing around time.

We did a 2 day hike / 1 night stay at a local family in the Hills of Sapa. It was an incredible experience. We spend the night with a family of 5. The mom gave birth to a new baby only 5 days prior to us arriving, so the older boy took charge. We helped him go and picked ingredients for dinner in their own veg garden, helped him cooked & do the dishes (Vietnames style). The dinner with the family included lots of great food & 'happy water' shooters. We had a blast. Such an authentic Vientamese experience. The hike was easy enough for our 4 year old daughter. The sleeper train to SAPA was great fun too.
