Gem Lake Trail
Can’t go wrong with this 3.1 mi hike in Rocky Mountain National Park! There is a pretty strong climb, but you don’t have to enter the park (aka free except for busy months).

Devil's Head Lookout
Wanna go to a fire tower? Then this 2.5 mi hike is a great one! Located in the Pike National Forest and shows a great view of south Denver!

Alberta Falls
An easy trail in RMNP and great for a quick hike! Rocky Mountain National Park is 2 hours from Denver.

South Table Mountain
In the beautiful town of Golden, this trail takes you up to the south table. You get great views of golden and a nice long hike at 8.9 mi. With free parking! You can make the hike shorter if you’d like, there are many hikes in the area.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Such a famous place in Denver with also some really great views! Around 5.8 mi, this is a great hike with free parking.

Mount Falcon Park
This has some of the best views of Denver and even a glimpse of the famous Red Rocks. Only 5.9 miles, this day hike is great and leads you to some cool ruins !

The flatirons are a great place to hike in Boulder! The trial is also near Boulder Open Space which has rock climbing too!!

Dinosaur Ridge
Right near red rocks and only 20 minutes from Denver, this hike is great and even has fossilized dinosaur tracks!

Mount Sanitas Trail
If you want a great view of Boulder and a sunset, go to Sanitas! It’s a steep climb, but it’s short and less than a mile.

St. Mary's Glacier
