Discover Walks Lisbon
There are free walking tours from Discover Lisbon starting in Rossio Square. They do work off tips though (they say the typical is $10 Euros). The tours are about 3 hours and provide history of the area. You learn and see a lot on these tours.

Belém Tower
A UNESCO World Heritage Site. It began construction in 1514 and played an important role in the discoveries era. It's also a great spot to see the sunset by the river.

Sintra
Sintra is about a 40 minute train ride from Lisbon and is full of hills so be prepared to walk a lot and maybe get a bit winded but it is a beautiful old-time feeling town. The Palace of Pena specifically provides spectacular views. Cabo da Roca is a bit further and is the most western point of Portugal. There is plenty to see in Sintra so you could do a day trip or a few days.

Fábrica da Nata - Pastéis de Nata
This quaint café/restaurant (check out the 2nd floor) has the best ham and cheese paninis and one of my favorite places for Pastéis de Nata. You could go to Pastéis de Belém but know there is typically a wait.

Miradouro da Nossa Senhora do Monte
There are many view points in Lisbon. You can simply google them and pick which ones you'd like to go to but my favorite is Lady of the Hill (there is a statue of Our Lady on the hill). You can see a castle and miles of the city from this viewpoint.
