Madison
Madison is a gorgeous cedar-lined indoor/outdoor space that's perfect for a brunch date. The menu changes seasonally, but my current favorite brunch item is the White Bean Shakshuka with Carnitas. Top it off with a pitcher of mimosas for the table & you have a fantastic Sunday afternoon ahead of you.

Great Maple
Either make a reservation or show up early to grab brunch at this mid-century modern diner. With an expansive menu of classic breakfast items with a modern twist, there's something on the menu for everyone. Order the Maple Bacon Doughnuts for the table & Cerrillos Chilaquiles for yourself.

Charles + Dinorah at The Pearl Hotel
Located in the Pearl Hotel, this poolside restaurant is a great place to have brunch on a sunny weekend. From their trendy toasts featuring Wayfarer Bread, topped with avocado or homemade jam and peanut butter, to Chicken Fried Steak and hashbrowns, there's not a sub-par item on the menu.

The Mission
The Mission is a San Diego staple. Ultra casual & perfect for a low-key brunch, the focus is the delicious food. My go-to order is the Papas Locos with two scrambled eggs. Don't forget to order one of their specialty coffee drinks, like the Honey Oatmilk Latte.

Jeune et Jolie
Modern & french-inspired, Jeune et Jolie is a classy weekend brunch spot. Their extensive raw menu, Omlette with Boursin, and Steak Frites are my personal favorites, but everything on the menu is extraordinary.

Herb & Wood
Little Italy's upscale dining destination's not-so-hidden secret is it's unparalelled brunch. Order the Monkey Bread with tahini gelato, Avocado Toast with candied jalepeño & the Crab Quiche.

Prepkitchen Little Italy
Each of their 4 locations has a slightly different vibe, but the service and food are fantastic no matter which location you decide to stop by for brunch. The menu changes seasonally, but the Scramble and House Baked Cinnamon Roll are mainstays that will never let you down.
