The Original Philippe
Adam had the classic French Dip sandwiches which Philippe's is known for. This restaurant is also seen on the show Best Thing I've Ever Ate with Wolfgang Puck where he ate the same thing as well as host of shows ate the same thing on No Reservations and Food Paradise.

Orochon Ramen
Adam attempted the "hot ramen challenge" at Orochon Ramen in Little Tokyo. Any person who can finish a serving of the "Special No. 2", a spicy soup featuring 10 kinds of chilies, within a half-hour, is awarded a place on the Wall of Bravery. Despite the pain from the soup's heat, Richman was able to complete the challenge.

SmokeEaters Hot Wings
To win, Adam had to eat 12 hot wings soaked in habanero chili sauce within 10 minutes?and then had to wait another 5 minutes before eating or drinking anything else to relieve the heat. Adam barely finished this challege but man came out on top this time.
