Cenote Calavera
Whenever visiting the Yucatan Penninsula, Cenotes are a MUST. Cenote Calavera is on the smaller side but just as magical and conveniently located 1.4 miles outside of town (an easy bike ride). Great for snorkeling or diving.

Cobá
About a 40-45 min drive outside of town. But if you're short on time and want to squeeze in a ruin trip without making the 2 hour drive to Chichen Itza, Coba will NOT dissapoint. You can rent bikes upon entering and bike the grounds at your leisure. PERK: you can still climb the tallest temple tower (Nohoch Mul) which gives you the grand view and sea horizon of Tulum!

AZULIK Tulum
You've likely seen pics of influencers at this famous location. This hotel is eco friendly in the extremist of senses but offers INCREDIBLE views/locations/attractions and more. The average cost a night is $800 but you can visit some of these spots by eating at the restaurant and then wander. INSTAGRAM WORTHY
