Paradise Falls
Easy to find, nice parking, and only about 2.3 miles to reach the waterfall! Lots of families on this trail and no safety concerns. Best time to visit is during winter when the rains are plentiful (December-March)

Big Horn Mine Road
Mountain Hike: you do have to drive into Angeles National Forest to reach this hike but I promise it's worth it! 4 Miles RT and the trail is relatively flat the whole time. Hike 2 miles in to see an old run down copper mine that still stands today. EPIC PHOTO OPPORTUNITY! There are even still tunnels (enter if you dare!)

Ocean View Trail
This is such a great hike because it offers a valley view leading up to an ocean view from way up in the Santa Monica mountains! It's only about 2.5 roundtrip or if you do the loop!

M*A*S*H Production Location
Have you ever seen the 1970-80 army show called MASH? Well some of the original props used for the show are now there. Some say the props were donated but I've also see that that is the original location. Either way! It's such an awesome hike and great for photos! About 4.7miles RT.

Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park
Not only is this location a hotspot as a filming location for tons of movies such as Austin Powers, Bubble Boy, Cars, Planet of the Apes - it's an absolutely stunning hike with these amazing rock features! Very kid friendly as the hike is only about 1.5 miles.
