Channel Islands National Park
There is so much history that goes into the making of these islands and even species native to these islands only! Great for a day trip! Pack a little lunch, take a short boat ride out there from either Ventura or Oxnard, CA Harbors. There is multiple islands, each offering something a little different, be sure to research which appeals and is best suited for you!

Bubblegum Alley
It may seem silly to be excited about an all full of chewed up old gum, but let's face it, we live in an Instagram world now and we just genuinely enjoy awkward stuff! Bubbble Gum Alley is located right downtown San Luis Obispo aka SLO

Morro Rock
There is something to be appreciated about a massive volcanic rock that sits on a coastal beach. Not only does it make for EXCELLENT photoshoots, but it's just an awe to look at! Once you're finished enjoying the beach, you can head over into town for a bite.

Pismo Beach
If you're into 4-wheeling, trucking/jeeping, or dirtbiking with a side of beach rv/tent camping, than Pismo Beach is your place! The beach is lined up with RVs/Tents for people loding and even 4-wheel/dune buggy rentals if you want to just stay the day. Behind the main strip of lodgers is the dunes. DUNES GALORE! Makes for an epic summer trip!

Moonstone Beach
This little well hidden beach is just off the 101 going towards San Francisco. It's easy to miss it's treasures because it just looks like a tiny little beach off the road but Moonstone Beach actually offers, not collectible sea shells, but sea rocks! Some of the most colorful and beautiful rocks I have seen and the beach is COVERED in them!
