Mauna Kea Summit Road
The view here is absolutely amazing. Mauna Kea is one of the world's tallest mountains and towers over the clouds. To get to the summit you will need a 4-wheel drive. Even if you don't have a 4-wheel drive, you'll be able to drive up to the visitor's center. If you decide to visit at night, because Mauna Kea is above the clouds, the sky is so clear.

Nu‘uanu Pali
The view amazing. It overlooks the green tropical east side of the island. In ancient Hawaiian history, this lookout was where a great battle was fought between the people of different islands.

This is a great place to have a nice picnic and look out to see the busy city of Honolulu. If you come here at night, the city lights are also beautiful.

Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park
This national park is full of diverse sites to see. I got to see steam vents, the crater, and lava tubes. It sort of feels like you’re in a different planet because of all the lava rock. Recently there was an eruption, so parts of the park are blocked off.

ʻAkaka Falls State Park
This is one of the tallest waterfalls I've seen in all of Hawaii. It's an amazing stop you don’t want to miss. The path to the waterfall is paved and is well maintained.

Kaneana Cave (Makua Cave)
Located right off the side of the road near Makua Beach. The cave runs pretty deep and is great for travel photos.
