1) the longest escalator in the world- In Soho district you will find the longest escalator in the world. Although this is not in one piece, but that also has its advantages, because you can get in between "and drink something and then continue driving .. The escalator extends over 2 km In the morning the escalator moves down, from noon it changes direction and she drives up, makes sense, right? 2) Victoria Hill- Of course we had to make the trip to the "Victoria Hill". However, we are not, as perceived 1000 people raufgefahren by train, but by bus. For the train is always about 2 hours. We have boarded bus 15, which will run for around 1.25 CHF. Although it takes a little longer, you can enjoy the beautiful view over the huge city from the bus. Above we went to the viewing platform, whereby the entrance cost 6.20 CHF. In good weather, it is worthwhile for the view in any case. Otherwise you have a great view from below. 3) Ozone Bar- On the top floor of the highest hotel in the world (Ritz-Carlton-Hotel) is also the highest bar in the world at home. Although the drinks are about as expensive as in Switzerland, it pays off for the view. It costs no entry, you should only be well dressed (closed shoes, no shorts for men from 9 clock). Unfortunately, you can not take very good pictures because the disc does not allow that, but sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment and leave your cell phone in your pocket. Attention, as the bar is not really covered, it can be very airy, so I recommend the ladies do not put on a short skirt. 4) Science Museum- Oh yes, when we had to wait a few hours for our visa, we expelled our time in the "Science Museum" which is also recommended for bad weather or very hot weather. Also for adults there is a lot to discover and for the price of 2.50 Fri you could spend the whole day in there.

In Chengdu there is a huge breeding station for our favorite animals and we could not miss that. We took a taxi and arrived at the park at 9am. Although it had some tourists, when we went out, we were glad that we were there so early, because there were hundreds more ... The visit was definitely worth it, the little baby band, which can not even walk, The red pandas, which bounced around my legs, and the bigger pandas, who were busy with food and games, should not be missed. The entry fee for 58 CNY is also very low. Tip : be there as early as possible, because then there are even fewer tourists and the pandas are still active. In the afternoon they have to recover from the many meals and thus sleep.

We booked a driver who took us to the well-known rice terraces at Longsheng . There we went with an ultra slow gondola for 7 Fr. over the terraces up to the top. From there we had a great view over the rice terraces. Then you can take a footpath down, which takes about 1 - 1.5 hours.

We were expecting a small, quiet town. However, we quickly noticed that there is a party street directly at our "Wada Youthhostel". How did they leave for the first evening on the left and went to bed early. For the next morning we have booked a course in Tai Chi . For 2 hours we were introduced to the technique and learned some procedures, but it has to be said that it is harder and more exhausting than it looks. As the weather was so nice, we decided to do the bamboo boat trip that same day. We were picked up from our hostel. Then we drove about 30 minutes by minibus to the launch site. From there we are driven for about 1.5 hours in pairs on this bamboo boat the river. It was a very nice river cruise, where we always had the rocks around us. Sometimes we went down even small "waterfalls". So definitely wear flip flops, because we definitely wet. There are also longer boat trips, but I find that these 1.5 hours have been completely enough.

Hangzhou
"The most beautiful city in the world", as Marco Polo called it, was waiting for us: Hangzhou. Our hostel "Wushanyi International Youth Hostel" is located in the middle of the old city, on the "Hefang Street", where always something runs. We stayed here for 4 nights and finally could relax, read and work on our blogs. Although that still has its pitfalls with the internet. One day we cycled around the famous West Lake . Actually you would need around 2 hours for the circumnavigation. Every now and then we made a few stops, where we walked around on the bridges and bridges and enjoyed the beautiful nature.

In Shanghai we opted again for a dorm in the "Rock & Wood Youth Hostel". Luckily it was only a foursome dorm, nevertheless we had the first night of course 2 snoring Indians in the room. As it often rained in Shanghai, we spent the days mainly shopping, although we did not really made a big profit. Nevertheless, I was very happy about the Victoria Secret, which is the only one in all of Asia, which leads the whole assortment. Of course, a visit to the Bund was not missing, where you have a view over the skyline. But honestly, I have seen far more beautiful skylines. In addition, Shanghai was so much spoiled that you could not really enjoy it. What I can recommend is the " Zapatas ". This is a mexican restaurant with bar and disco. The food is delicious and the drinks affordable, also the mood is always great.

We rented a bike and drove about 1.5 hours through the city towards Dragon Gate, I was really surprised how bike-friendly such a city can be. Everywhere there are bicycle lanes, but where electric scooters run, but which are very pleasant to drive. We then took for 40 CNY per person the gondola, which first crosses the lake and after the intermediate stop on the other shore the mountain goes up. Do not forget to smile, because again and again photos are shot in between, which you can then of course buy at an exorbitant price. Once at the top of the mountain, there is another chairlift. To get all the way up the mountain you pay another 70 CNY (40 for admission and 30 for the train). From there you can slowly go down again, passing beautiful temples built on the mountain. The best known, The "Dragon Gate" is in addition to the overwhelming view really impressive. Then it goes down, where you either back on a golf cart (of course you pay for it again) or in a 15-minute walk back to the gondola. Attention : The last departure is at 17 o'clock, so come on at 15 o'clock, so you catch the last gondola. The return trip on the bike through the city was very exciting, although there was more traffic in the evening. Also on the program was the stone forest. The stone forest was really beautiful, albeit a big labyrinth. You do not often see such a landscape and the many Chinese tourists are well distributed, so sometimes you stand alone among the high rocks.

1) Of course, a visit to the Forbidden City was not missing on the to-do list. Attention: Since 1.7.2017 a ticket must be bought in advance, because the number of visitors has been limited to 80'000 per day. 2) A trip to the Great Wall is a must. 3) We also wanted to visit the " Temple of Heaven ", unfortunately this evening was already closed at 5 o'clock and only the park, which cost 35 RMB admission was still open. But this park is worth it, because it is nice and quiet and you can still see the temple behind the walls. 4) Another temple that I can recommend is the " Lama Temple ". Such temples are otherwise found only in Tibet and is something different again. One can observe many believers in their prayers and thus take up the mood.

Terracotta Soldiers- We took the public bus to the train station and from there we went by bus 306 for 8 CNY per person to the probably oldest army. The entrance fee for 150 CNY was a bit much, but you should not miss the visit, if you are already in Xi'an.
