VILLON
The cocktail menu had the most unique style I had ever seen. Each page had a theme and 7 drinks to go with that theme. I chose from the big city menu, naturally a Chicago. My dad chose from the disaster menu, a Earthquake Proof. Moises created the drinks with such precision and both were outstanding. Overall a truly wonderful and unexpected visit, and what made it even better was that after having a delightful conversation with Moises about how we were only in two for 2 days and wanted to make the best of it, he let us in on a little secret that the more secret and exclusive restaurant on the roof, Charmaine's would be opening within the hour and to head over before it fills! Keep your eyes open for my review on that tomorrow, definitely my favorite spot on San Fran.

Charmaine's
The moment you start your experience at Charmaine's you already feel quite special. You have to enter through the side entrance, usually some form of a line if you don' get their at the right time, escorted by security to the roof where the elevators open up to a beautiful establishment. Great decor, very open with all windows, great bar, and as you walk out the glass doors you see the black and white stripped couches around cozy fire pits all surrounded by the stunning downtown San Fran city views from above. Because this was a last minute addition to our trip we did not have a reservation but lucky for us we explained to one of the servers we would only be staying for one drink so she went ahead and brought us to a fire pit table that would be free for the next hour or so. Our Server Bri was an absolute sweetheart and gave us great drink recipes based on what we expressed we liked. I chose a Salem Saberhagen and a Songs from the Brill Building, both were exquisite and full of flavor. The atmosphere at Charmaine' is truly welcoming and as I said it gives you quite the high class exclusive feeling which can be exciting for a change! If you take any of my recommendations while in San Fran, and the weather is nice, take this one and go to Charmaine's!!

The European Bar & Lounge
Here is another little spot my dad and I hit on our 48 hours in San Fran! The cucumber delight was very refreshing, not too strong of cucumber. Bees knees was perfect level of strong, very well made especially compared to most I have tried. The Spanish chicken fingers were very unique and not what expected but along with the spicy dipping sauce they were very flavorful and enjoyable! Our server Terrance was very friendly but not overwhelming. Establishment has very travelesque decor and very cozy! Could have melted into the couches and stayed for hours!View all 10 comments

Dirty Habit
I had a Hibiscus Margarita and my dad and the Dark Intentions with Basil Hayden Dark Rye. We also shared the Kennebec Fries with a tasty Aioli. Everything was delicious. What made me like Dirty Habit so much had to be the establishment itself. The decor was really intricate and unique. The outdoor seating with fire pit was a perfect touch as well!

Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar
The Tonga Room and Hurricane Bar was a spot we were very happy to of experienced. We made a reservation for 6:30pm which was perfect to arrive during their happy hour and also be able to stay for the live music at 8! (Happy Hour is from 5-7pm) We chose the Tonga Kong which was a creamy rum drink and the Jungle Bird which was a rum , pineapple and Italian aperol spritzer like drink! Both were very tasty! We also ate the soy lime edamame which was wonderful!

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse
You can't go to San Francisco California without getting baked at Mr. Holmes Bakehouse! The notorious sign was something I couldn't miss! Trying to watch our figures going into summer we chose to split one of the birthday cake filled croissant and holy WOW, it truly was incredible. I am not known for being the biggest fan of super sweet snacks but I have to say this was perfection. There were so many delicious looking pastry's but I am very happy with our choice!

Delarosa
Delarosa San Francisco, California During my spontaneous trip to San Fran recently I had the opportunity to try so many different foods and drinks and Delarosa definitely stood out to me! The establishment is smaller, but very comfortable, great decor and very welcoming staff! They have a great patio although it was unfortunately a tad too chilly for us to enjoy it during our visit! I went with the Margarita da Torino and my dad the Sudwdek pilsner. Our wonderful bartender recommended the Fennel Sausage pizzetta, and breaded olives fontina cheese. It was perfect for sharing when in need of a mid day snack!
