Flatiron Building
Go early in the morning or in cloudy conditions, as sun can make taking a picture really difficult here. While you're there, grab a shake (strawberry is my favorite!) or burger at the original Shake Shack location in Madison Square Park across the street.

Dumbo
Walk to Washington Street and head to the waterfront for views of both the Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridge. Find the West Elm store and walk up the stairs for a small rooftop with lovely views of the bridge, Manhattan and Jane's Carousel.

Washington Square Park
Washington Square Park is my happy place. From there, you can see the One World Trade Center and Empire State Building peeking through the Washington Square Arch. Stay for a while to listen to all the talented musicians.

Grand Central Terminal
Grand Central Station gets VERY busy - come late at night to avoid crowds. Check out 1920's inspired Campbell bar inside Grand Central while you are there.

Central Park
Search for Bow and Gapstow bridges, walk the Mall, take in Bethesda Fountain or the Belvedere Castle. Another tip is to get close to the Eldorado building at 300 Central Park West and snap a picture with the towers in the background.
