Reykjavík Bar Tour
This tour is the most fun way to kickstart your Iceland adventure! Surrounded by other travelers and a knowledgeable guide, you'll soon find yourself trying fermented shark and other icelandic drink specialties (like a drink with cocoa puffs!) before dancing the night away with locals.

Snowmobile.is
Zooming across the second largest ice cap in all of Iceland is one of the most fun tours offered! Dress warm!

Dog Sledding Iceland HQ
One of my biggest bucket-list items! You'll need to experience it for yourself and can choose from different trecks varrying in length. Free husky snuggles included!

Íslenski Hesturinn - The Icelandic Horse
A good year-round activity that varies in length, terrain and experience that lets you enjoy the small but strong Icelandic horses. If horseback riding isn't your thing, there will be plenty icelandic horses to pet on your roadtrip across Iceland.

Blue Lagoon
Though touristy, I'd still recommend visiting the Blue Lagoon. The lagoon is unfortunately not natural and there are many other, free hot springs around the country you can explore - but the lagoon is still something special to have experienced. Tip: Don't get your hair wet! The sulphur will wreak havoc on your strands.

Northern Lights watching spot
You can try and see the Northern Lights without a tour, but an experienced guide will know the best places to go witness them. I have never felt so in awe seeing anything in my life - 10/10 would do again a million times!

Golden Circle Apartments
The Golden Circle is the most popular tour in Iceland as it covers some of the most beautiful sights - but tour stops get extremely touristy. In general, I would recommend renting a car and see the sights for yourself. BUT: All tour operators I went with across all activities were absolutely brilliant, so you can't go wrong either way.

Icelandic Mountain Guides
Hike on one of Iceland's biggest glaciers covering an active volcano. Adventure, much?! You can book a simple glacier hiking tour or choose one that offers ice climbing as well. Go with the latter for extra uniqueness. Note: Go with a guide! People try and explore on their own every now and then and often times fall or get lost - and the guides can't help them.

Esjurætur - Hiking Center
I would describe Iceland's landscape as a mix of Scotland, New Zealand, and the moon. There are plenty of hiking trails of all lengths that offer a unique way to experience its beauty up close!

Snaefellsnes
Most people only visit Iceland for a max. of 7 days and don't have time to do either. Snaefellsnes peninsula is known as "Iceland in miniature" as it offers many of Iceland's famous landscape features. The South Coast is known for waterfalls and black sand beaches. My tip: If you are doing a glacier hiking tour, you will pass by some of the southern coast waterfalls and black sand beaches, so choose Snaefellsnes. If you don't do a glacier tour, choose the South Coast!
