Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve
There is good reason this area sees about 150K tourists per year, it's gorgeous! About an hour long walk will get you to Cathedral Cove along the beach. There you will find a large cavernous arch connecting two beaches, perfect for some photo opportunities.

Mount Cook
Mount cook is such a photogenic mountain. You can get tons of pics along the drive to Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. My two favorite photo spots are at Peter's Lookout along Lake Pukaki and along the Hooker Valley Track. Stop back at night for some Milky Way shots! If you hit New Zealand between mid-November to end of December, you will be lucky enough to get some iconic shots of the lupin flowers in bloom around this region.
