White River
Think about a white sandy beach where the Caribbean sea meets a gentle flowing, clear river. Throw in some local party scene and you've got this place. Across a shallow sand bank is a nudist hotel…but they stick to their own space.

Frenchman's Cove Resort
Truly a slice of paradise unlike anywhere I've seen. This small cove is surrounded by lush green vines. A small, clear water creek meets the sea under the shade of palm trees and a rope swing. You can even order a beer at the beach.

Boston Beach
This is definitely a local favorite. Surrounded some of the best barbequed chicken in the world, a few local surfers keep the beach clean, while offering surf lessons (at a reasonable price). The afternoons are filled with music and sunset drinks.

Beach House Condos, Negril
This long, white sandy beach is the picture perfect Caribbean beach. There are restaurants and bars scattered along the stretch. Some locals will try to sell you weed or trinkets or both, but if you're firmly not interested they will leave you alone.

Cool Blue Hole
A shirt drive from Ocho Rios is the Blue Hole. It is a series of natural rock pool, swimming holes with stunning blue water. The water is blue from natural minerals. You have to take a guide, as it's a bet of a walk through the jungle to get there, but our guide was super nice and took photos of us jumping in.

Reach Falls
There are two ways to get to the falls. One is to drive up to the top of the river. The other is to go halfway and walk the rest of the way with a local guide. We took the second option. Actually the walk was the best part as there was no one else around and we had the most amazing little falls and swimming holes to ourselves.

Lime Cay
Take a small boat from the old pirate town of Port Royal. It's about a 10 minute ride. We went through the week and had the island to ourselves. You can walk around the island in about 15 minutes. There was a bit of trash on the beach when we were there so we did a clean. Luckily there were bins on the island

Samsara Cliff Hotel
There are several spots you can access the cliffs of Negril. Our favorite place to view them was from the Rock House hotel restaurant. It is a beautiful eco hotel with amazing food. Worth the view and a swim if you like super clear water and jumping into it from cliffs.

White River
There are several ways to go up river, we used a kayak from the Kaz Kreaol resort (where we stayed) so it was free, but you can hire them if you're not staying. The river is a light blue color and if you make your way up you will see small villages and people going about their daily lives.
