Hansen Bay Beach
Our favorite and least known snorkel spot. We didn't see anyone else snorkel here. It's a hidden gem with crystal clear, calm waters only a few steps from the carpark to the ruins. A world of pure bliss awaits underwater.

Waterlemon Cay
We got lucky here. A mother and calf dolphin literally swam/danced around us for about an hour without any other people in the water. It was pure heaven. Keep an eye out.

Cinnamon Bay
It's a walk, I'm not going to lie. Probably a good 30 to 40 minute walk along the coastal/ rubble shore. But, this tiny island has some amazing corals and it's where we saw a few little reef sharks.

Maho Bay
One of the most popular beaches on the island. It is right in the midst of the marine park area. We found that the sea life was not quite as good as Trunk Bay, but a swim around the little offshore island made for a great snorkel trail.

Trunk Bay
Turtles, turtles, turtles. You can't snorkel here without seeing them. And up close. These beautiful, docile creatures , calmly eat the seagrass on the seabed while humans swim overhead. Do NOT touch the turtles or chase after them. They are particularly subject to stress which can disrupt their immune system, making them vulnerable to sickness.

Hawksnest Beach
A popular tourist snorkel spot. Be sure to get here early. The underwater "trail" includes a series of information plaques denoting the species found in the area. It's interesting, though the corals in other locations are better,

Saltpond Bay
We saw Spotted Eagle Rays here on many occasion. They hang out off the rocks between the middle of the bay. Be amazed by the beautiful creatures.

Little Lameshur Bay
Swim out to the rocks in the center of the bay. There are 2 significant reef areas out there. The water clarity is amazing and there are large underwater "fields" of gentle swaying fern corals. It's such a beautiful spot.

Grootpan Bay
At the end of a long and bumpy dirt road, this beach feels like the end of the world. It's a beautiful little bay with a really interesting little rock area the sticks out the water just offshore, normally with some seabirds on it (hence why the rock is white)
