Carlsbad Caverns National Park
Looking to escape the hot summer sun? Head down 1000 feet and check out Carlsbad Caverns. Put you adventure hat on and discover the earth from below. Make sure you stick around to watch the bats exit the cave at sunset! (Watch out for them rattlesnakes though)

Blue Hole
If you are interested in a little bit of a swim/scuba dive, make sure you stop here. This is an 80 ft deep water hole that continues another 120 ft deeper. (Can only go where the vent is at 80ft)

Musical Highway
Make sure you slow down to 45mph to hear the song "America the Beautiful". This can only be seen when you are driving east on route 66.

Bandelier National Monument
The monument was home to the Ancestral Puebloans of a later era in the Southwest. Some really cool old ruins that you can even climb up a ladder into some of the windows.

Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument Veterans' Memorial Scenic Overlook
An area that has tent shaped rock. Definetly worth the trip with the beautiful scenery that is amongst this Kasha-Katuwe area.
