Guadalupe
Valle de Guadalupe is like Napa Valley in the 60s: beautiful, peaceful, and abundant with good wine and gorgeous vineyards. We recommend booking an Airbnb or staying on the property of one of the vineyards. Taxis don't exist here, so talk to the locals about getting a car-for-hire for the day, or if you're bold like we were, ride a bicycle from winery to winery.

Guerrero Negro
The only reason we suggest this spot is to check out the salt flats. Guerrero Negro itself is not a very exciting town, so if you can make it a day trip that's what we suggest. The salt flats aren't signed or advertised, so ask locals how to get to them!

San Quintín
This is a little tropical oasis in the middle of the Baja Desert. We recommend staying at Ignacio Springs, a little Yurt village run by a Canadian couple in San Ignacio.

Loreto
Loreto is a hotspot for retirees. It's quiet, slow-paced, and traveler-friendly. This isn't really a place you go to swim at the beach or party the night away, but more of a quiet place to enjoy the sun and get nice accommodation for a low price.

La Paz
La Paz's boardwalk (el malacon) is buzzing with restaurants, bars, and boat rentals. Its set up for tourism, but it doesn't feel like there are many tourists around. We recommend staying close to the center and the water.
