Taqueria Del Sol
Amazing counter service restaurant just outside of downtown. Some of the best cheese dip in Athens and their fried chicken taco is incredible. Don't be discouraged if it looks like a long line outside of the restaurant because it moves very fast.

Big City Bread Cafe
Little counter service restaurant with a cute outdoor patio if you are looking for somewhere to eat on a nice day. Great lunch and dinner if you are looking for a soup, sandwich, or salad. But my personal favorite is their brunch because of their fabulous chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit.

Incredible high end Chinese restaurant in Five Points. If you go I highly suggest getting several items to split that way you can try a little bit of everything because it is all amazing.

Heirloom Cafe and Fresh Market
Cute, casual restaurant located in the Boulevard neighborhood. They are most well-known for their brunch with amazing biscuit sandwiches. Would definitely suggest going on the earlier side for brunch because their wait time can get very long if you go on the later side.

Last Resort Grill
Fine dining located in the downtown area with amazing contemporary Southern cooking. My favorite item to get is the Chicken in Parchment pasta but you can't go wrong with anything you order at this place, and would definitely listen to their seafood specials becuase they are incredible. Don't forget to ask what kind of cheesecakes they have that day

Chic, high end restaurant located in the downtown area that keeps it simple with five dinners, five white wines, and five red wines. My favorite is going for their weekend brunch with some of the best chicken and waffles I have ever had.

Shokitini
High end Japanese restuarant in the downtown area with amazing hibachi entrees and almost any type of sushi roll you can think of. If you are looking for a great place that can host a bigger group for a special occasion, look into renting one of their karaoke rooms for the night - they are tons of fun!

Cali N Tito's
Laidback counter service Latin American Restaurant just outside of Five Points. Really cool atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating and is a great place to go on a sunny day because BYOB is welcome for only two dollars. This restaurant is cash only so don't make the mistake of coming without any!

Seabear Oyster Bar
Chic, oyster bar located in The Bottleworks on Prince Avenue. Great little snacks such as grilled cheese and avocado toast with only $1.50 per oyster during happy hour.

Mama's Boy Restaurant
Incredible breakfast and lunch with two different locations in the Athens area. Definitely most well-known for their breakfast and make sure to get there on the earlier side if you are going on a Saturday or Sunday morning to try to beat the crowd. Nothing is better than their fried chicken biscuit!

Delicious, counter service Italian restaurant in the downtown area with tons of outdoor seating. Most well known for their amazing personal pizzas but also have amazing salads, pasta, and sandwiches.

Elegant, contemporary Southern restaurant in the downtown area. Incredible lunch and dinner with tons of options from salads, sandwiches, burgers, and more. They also have an amazing brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Be sure to check out their Happy Hour from 3-6pm weekdays for great deals!

Some of the finest dining you can find in the area, located downtown. Mediterranean-style dishes with a Southern influence is what makes this place so delicious and unique. Definitely check out their specials - they are always amazing.

Delicious crêpe bar in the downtown area. A great place to go grab appetizers and drinks before a night out or to just grab a bite to eat for lunch. Amazing sweet and savory crêpes, sandwiches, and drinks. They also run great deals on drinks throughout the week such as Monday - Wednesday ALL DAY and Thursday 4-10pm $1 off crafts & drafts and 1/2 off

Chuck's Fish Athens
Amazing place to have a nice dinner. Great for fish lovers but have tons of other options as well. Amazing variety of sushi, appetizers, and great cocktails as well. Recommend going on the earlier side because they do not take reservations.
