Game Creek Restaurant
A very special dining experience at this restaurant on Vail mountain. Book a reservation and you’ll be set up with transportation from the village to the restaurant - gondola to snow cat to the restaurant mid-mountain. Fine dining, but perfect for a special occasion.

Tennessee Pass Cookhouse
Spend a magical day at Tennessee Pass and have lunch or dinner at the Cookhouse - a yurt restaurant in the middle of the woods. In the winter rent nordic skis or snowshoes / in the summer walk or hike up and follow the trail to the Cookhouse. Such friendly staff and delicious food (must try Roxanne’s cookies). Then keep exploring before heading back to the nordic center. A really special experience - make a reservation in advance, it’s small and books up!

Vail Brewing Company
Great local Vail brewery and a great spot to hang (and play corn hole when it’s warm out). About 10 mins drive from Vail Village, but they also have a tasting room right in the village if you want to try the beer without the drive.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch
Ski in ski out luxury hotel at Beaver Creek. Lots of food and drink options, live music, and fun aprés ski. On a sunny day definitely sit outside and enjoy the patio! If you eat at Buffalo, must get the cast iron nachos.

Local microbrews - try the “Fire it Up!” green chili lager (if you need to tame it down do half brown ale with the spicy lager). Also has tacos, crepes (get the chocolate and marshmallow one), and sandwiches.

For a special dinner out - upscale Belgian restaurant set in a house with multiple dining areas in various quaint rooms. Local dishes like elk, lamb, and beef short ribs were favorites and there’s an extensive wine list.

Vendetta's Restaurant
Great spot for aprés ski in central Vail village. On a sunny day, sit outside at the patio and enjoy pizza and a local beer. Best thing on the menu is custom pizza by the slice - you can add any toppings you want!

The 10th
A favorite ski-in / ski-out spot for a nicer sit down lunch located mid-mountain on Vail. When all mountain food is expensive, why not enjoy a meal in this beautiful setting?! Also great for an afternoon cocktail. Cheers!

Rocky Mountain Taco
Permanently parked at Vail Brewing Company, Rocky Mountain Taco is a local favorite. Try the carnitas or “hippie crack” (veggie) tacos and enjoy with a cold beer from inside.
